Sponsor a Pumpkin for Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Salem County, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to eligible county residents with the help of many volunteers. Meals are currently made by the helpful staff at Ranch Hope. Our annual Giant Pumpkin Carve is are largest fundraiser and we need your help to make it a success.

Pumpkin Sponsor - $100
Local businesses can sponsor a pumpkin for only $100. All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels of Salem County. For more information, call Sharron at (856) 935-3663. 

Scarecrow Sponsor - $225
Local businesses are encouarge to send a team of five to build their best scarecrow competing against other teams.   If you can't locate a team, we will find one for you.

Website Sponsor - $250/yr
Businesses receive a 175x75 ad space linked to their website at the bottom of the GiantPumpkinCarve.com website. For more information, call Sharron at (856) 935-3663. 

Hayride Sponsor - $500 
Offsets the cost for the 350 bales of straw needed for the pumpkin exhibits and for the popular free hayrides.  Nearly 2,000 visitors take the hayrides around the fairgrounds each year.

T-Shirt Sponsor - $1,000
Show your support of this event by putting your logo on the back of 300 Giant Pumpkin Carve T-Shirts. A shirt is given to the 200 volunteers who carve or help to make this event possible each year.  The remaining T-Shirts are sold for a discounted price at the event.

Prize Sponsor - $1,500
In 2008 cash prizes will be given in 10 Giant Pumpkin Carve categories.   Prizes will also be given for the Bake-Off, Child's Pumpkin Look-A-Like Contest, Pumpkin Lane, Coloring Contest and Guess the Weight of the Giant Pumpkin Contest.

Join the others who have donated to Meals on Wheels of Salem County.  It only takes a couple of minutes to help provide a hot meal for Salem County seniors.  Meals on Wheels of Salem County, like 40% of other Meals on Wheels Programs, has a waiting list.
