Sponsor a Pumpkin and More for Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels of Salem County, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that delivers nutritious meals to eligible county residents with the help of many volunteers. Meals are currently made by the helpful staff at Ranch Hope, Inc. Our annual Giant Pumpkin Carve is our main fundraiser and we need your help to make it a success. Pumpkin Sponsor - $125*
Local businesses and community groups can sponsor a pumpkin. Sponsor signs are displayed with each corresponding pumpkin.
Website Sponsor - $350/yr*
Businesses receive a 175x75 ad space for their logo linked to their website at the bottom of the GiantPumpkinCarve.com website--all year long. Contact Peg for more details.
Hayride Sponsor - $500*
Nearly 2,000 visitors take the hayrides around the fairgrounds each year. Sponsoring helps offset the cost for the pumpkin exhibits and for the popular free hayrides. Sponsor sign will be displayed.
Children's Activity Sponsor - $500*
A variety of special activities and crafts will be held for children 12 and under both days of the event. Sponsoring helps offset the costs of the materials and craft items. Sponsor sign will be displayed.
Pumpkin Bake-Off Sponsor - $750*
Our traditional Pumpkin Bake-Off will be expanded and judging will be held on October 15th. Sponsor's supplied logo banner will be prominently displayed.
Straw Maze Sponsor - $750*
Nearly 2,000 visitors will travel the Straw Maze. Offsets the cost for the 500+ bales of straw needed to build the Straw Maze. Sponsor's supplied logo banner will be prominently displayed.
Trunk-R-Treat Sponsor - $1,000*
Children 12 and under will enjoy treats and attendees will be wowed by amazing vehicle trunk decorating! Sponsoring helps offset the costs of the event. Sponsor sign will be displayed and one exhibit area is provided near the activity.
Pumpkin Princess Pageant - $1,000*
Children ages 5-12 will compete in the latest pageant soon to become a Salem County tradition: Pumpkin Princess & Prince Pageant. Competition will be held on October 2, 2011 at the YMCA in Carneys Point. Winners will be crowned on October 15th at the Giant Pumpkin Carve. Sponsorship helps offset the costs of the event. Sponsor's supplied logo banner will be prominently displayed during the competition and at the crowning event. One exhibit area also is provided at each location.
T-Shirt Sponsor - $2,000*
Show your support of this event by putting your logo on the back of Giant Pumpkin Carve T-Shirts. A shirt is given to the 100 volunteers who carve or help to make this event possible each year. The remaining T-Shirts are sold for a discounted price at the event.
Prize Sponsor - $2,000*
In 2011, cash prizes will be given in 10 Giant Pumpkin Carve categories, along with a special prize commemorating our 15th Anniversary of the Pumpkin Carve. Prizes will also be given for the Trunk-R-Treat, Everything Pumpkin Bake-Off, Pumpkin Princess & Prince Pageant, Monster Mash Dance Contest and several other activities. Sponsor's supplied logo banner will be prominently displayed.
Pumpkin Exhibits Sponsor - $2,500 (2 available)*
More than 2,000 visitors anticipate our main attraction every year, the amazing giant carved pumpkin exibits! Two barns displaying the delightfully scuplted gourds open for viewing and judging Saturday evening, October 15th. Exhibits are open both days to all visitors. Sponsoring offsets the costs for the pumpkins, straw and signs for the exhibits. Sponsor's supplied logo banners (2 for each barn) will be prominently displayed. One exhibit area is provided near the activity.
Major Event Sponsorships - (3 available)*
Corporations or community groups seeking to provide major support to Meals on Wheels of Salem County through a larger presence at The Giant Pumpkin Carve can participate in one of three levels: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Major sponsors choose from a combination of activities, have their logo banners prominently displayed and receive an exhibit area.
