Congratulations to the 2008 Winners of the Giant Pumpkin Carve!

1. Very Crafty Artists 4-H Club of Mannington, NJ  won in the Funniest category.
2. Joe Dorety of Auburn, NJ won Best of Show for his rendition of King Kong.
3. Jackie Steves, a first time carver from Woodstown, NJ, won for the Prettiest entry with carved flowers.
4. Tom Kopec of Pilesgrove, NJ won Best Use of Pumpkin for his Barbie Fairy House.
5. Debbie Ecret of Salem, NJ and Ellie Schuster of Wayne, NJ won for Most Halloween with a haunted carriage ride.
6. Katie Bitter of Mannington Township, NJ won most original with her giant ice cream sundae.
7. Anthony Cipriano of Delaware won in the youth category for his Barbie eating pumpkin creature.

The Salem County Fair Association graciously supports this event each year.

The Prizewinner Pumpkins are grown by Cruzandale Farms of Bridgeton, NJ.
